Using the SDK it will see all remote button presses other then the mouse specific buttons.
You can do what I've done and assign other buttons for the mouse functions.
Using the SKD your mouse remote will be able to do more then with the remotemouse software. ;)
I have built in support for all X10 remotes added to PC Companion so it is even possible to turn a palm pad into a remote mouse ;)

thanks for the reply however i actually need to mouse pad working as i have several remotes that are part of my whole house audio/control system and i need the mouse pad to work not as a mouse control but to be able to control menus in the front-ends as a directional pad.  Is it a hardware limitation or software?
