I cut a small piece of 1/2 inch wood to
about 4" by 6", mounted an XCam2 to one
end, facing it towards the empty end of the
plank where I have mounted two pieces of
mirror at 45 degree angles outward such
that they obscure 1/3 of the camera's field
of view each...allowing me to only see 1/3
of the image the camera is aimed at,
HOWEVER, this configuration allows me to
see BEHIND WHERE THE CAMERA IS AIMED such
that the TV image is virtically split into
THREE VIEWS SIMULTANEOUSLY!!
It's very cool, but there is blocked view
behind the mirrors and immediately behind
the camera BUT A ONE SECOND TOUCH OF THE
REMOTE'S PAN BUTTON **IMMEDIATELY**
DISPLAYS THOSE BLIND SPOTS while the camera
only needs to move an inch or so to reveal
these blind spots, i.e., a touch of the pan
button in the other direction and the
camera is almost immediately restored to
its original position.
This configurations allows 1) 360 degree
view, and 2) SPEED, i.e., no long wait for
camera to pan. It seems it may also be a
fix to your reverse view problem!
