How many can be on at one time? I am trying
to get two to work using a Hauppauge video
capture card with three composite inputs and
a receiver for each camera. I tried different
house codes for the transformer and different
channel codes for the cameras and still no
luck. All the capture card inputs are working
properly. If I set both cameras’s to say
channel (a) and switch one on and the other
off I can get them to work that way. Software
wise I have tired the win TV which comes with
the capture card and also active web cam. Oh
yeah and pan tilt pro.Everything works with
different inputs but when the xcams are
hooked up I usually lose one camera and then
the other one has a great deal of noise. Am I
missing something obvious here?

The two RF Transmissions are steping on each
other and messing up both pictures. Only one
should be on at any one time or both will
step on each other. Even outside sources of
signals can sometimes mess up a Wireless
Camera. Like a 2.4 Ghz Cordless Phone a
Wireless Network and even some microwave
ovens. You did say that even one Camera on
Channel A and one on D was still no good. I
would say they where still too close in
frequency to not effect the other.

I suggest you eith go with wired cameras if
you want multiple concurent connections or
get MultiView and use your wireless cams.
You might want to try iWitness as well.

The X-10 cams are designed to only transmit
one at a time.  That's why the remotes
broadcast the OFF signal to the previous
camera before broadcasting the ON for the
new camera selected.
