What is the model of the modules? Sometimes that can help as I think you are giving the actual X10 Chip Part Number on the IC.

It's apparently an industry chip number, but Chinese. Google popped up a number of distributors but no online datasheet I could find.

Yesterday it worked.
Today it doesn't work.
X10 on Windows is like that.

So far the best I have found is this:
name: 78570
function: power line interface
package: DIL,18
manufacturer: unknown
added-by: chaisaeng euesakulkieat
comment: only number 78570 on chip
