Problem with CR12a (Canmera remote)
« on: January 27, 2006, 01:01:18 PM »

Hi folks.  I can't get the CR12A to scan
(press the blue button) beyond the first
group (1-4).  I follow the manual, press the
5 on (Hold) and slide the switch (1-8,9-16)
back and forward.  Nothing happen.  It won't
scan the group 2 or for that matter I try
group 3 and 4 (I have 14 cameras) and it
doesn't work.  I have a CR14a (pan'n tilt
remote) and it works just fine.  Is there a
special way to program the CR12A?  I check
the batttery, use different CR12A but
nothing work.  Please help.  Thanks.

I belive it only does one group of 4. If you
have more the cr13a can be programed to do
more than 4 cameras.

Thanks for the reply.  My problem is that
all of my CR12A will not be programmed.  In
other word, it always stuck on group 1
(camera 1 - 4).  I read the instruction and
follow it so many times, it just won't
change to other group.  I was wondering if
anyone has success in changing the group
with this remote.  Is there other step
(other than mention in that instruction
sheet) that I miss?  Thanks.

Oh I understand your problem now. Will do
some digging and see if I can find anything
out.
