is there a way to increase the range from
the Active home CM15A to pan and tilt
base.  Can I setup a macro to retransmit
through a TM751 tranceiver that is closer
to the camera? and if so how

The TM751 only takes an RF signal and sends
it on the powerline. The addressable power
supplies are line signal controled so maybe
if they where not getting the line signals
it may help. The Pan and Tilt is controlled
directly by the RF signals and a TM751 would
not help. I don't think the rf repeaters
repeat the pan and tilt messages as I
believe they use an extended data format and
not the standard X10 format

Both the Pan/Tilt and the wireless motion
sensors operate using RF. I have extended
the range by just adding a short length of
insulated wire to the antennaes. I really
don't know what frequency they are at to
properly match the length to the RF signal
so it becomes trial and error. x10 was not
willing to share the frequency used and I
don't have the test equipment to determine
this, so you are on your own. PS. Naturally
X10 will not support or condon this
modification and FCC would not either.

True but the TM751 will not process the pan
and tilt signals as they are in the extended
code format and are directly received by the
pan and tilt base. The camera controls are
rf from the remote to the TM751 where an X10
On Off signal is sent to the addressable
power unit over the powerline.
310Mhz is the frequency. Though receiveing
is not as touchy as transmitting.

1/4wave ground plane antenna mods are on
some web sites....

I believe its listed accessHA web site, for
mods on X10 eq.
someone added an external antenna for the
CM15A that increased the recieve range
10fold.
I have yet to mod mine, but I am planning
to do this mod for both recieve and
transmit which should give great range for
both without requiring repeaters.
