I'm having trouble controlling x10 modules
from the 5-in-1 universal remote. Will it
only work with modules on house code A? The
instruction are not clear to me at that
point.

The remote can only do one house code, but
can be set to a different code if you follow
the instructions. What are you using to
receive the remotes signals. All the X10
Tranceivers are also only one house code
receivers.
