Unfortunately, I don't have Multi-View, so
I'm not sure what to tell you, there...
It seems that you may be in need of the X-10
signal repeater that someone else has
mentioned. The Flood-Cam transmits a
wireless X-10 signal that I presume Multi-
View is supposed to pick-up, much like a VCR
Commander would. Unfortunately, it seems
that there is something knocking this signal
down. My understanding is that this signal
is supposed to have about a 100 foot range,
but if there's a lot of brick, or maybe
aluminium siding involved somewhere, this
could be affecting the signal.
Also, I know that a remote like those that
are used for the Ninja Pan & Tilt camera
bases can be used to switch from camera to
camera, or Flood-Cam to Flood-Cam, but in
the instance of the Flood-Cams, the Flood-
Cam lights won't turn-off automatically. I
have had to use a 'regular' X-10 remote to
turn the Flood-Cams off so that they'll work
automatically and turn the lights off after
the allotted time. I've read of another
instance of Flood-Cams not turning the
lights off in another post somewhere and I'm
thinking that the software has the same
problem as what you get when using the Ninja
remote. I don't know why. Perhaps it is
possible to send an 'off' command to these
lights from the software? Do you just have
the one camera, or is there another? I hope
