Multiple motion lights
« on: January 29, 2005, 06:42:29 PM »

I have purchased four X10 motion lights
thinking I could set them up so that if any
one of them was triggered, it would turn on
all four.  But because of the +1, +2, etc.
way of sending codes, this doesn't work.
Does anyone know how I can make this work,
or what should I have bought to do this?
Thanks.

Seperate EagleEye Motion detectors and wall
swtiches or socket rockets. Set them up. Each
sensor will trigger all of the lights, just
set them to the same code.

You will have to purchase the Active Home
software.  I have six motion detectors that I
want to respond the same way as you do.  I
have desiginated (3) motions as P1, sending
codes P2, P3, and P4.  The other three
motions are O1 that sends codes O2, O3, and
O4.  I have made six macros named P2, P3, P4,
O2, O3, and O4.  The motions transmit trigger
codes that call these macro.  Each macro then
turns all lights on.  I have also placed a
delay and an all lights off command after 2
minutes. I am still in the trial stage and it
seems a little "flaky" but hopefully it will
settle down.  Tech support helped me with
develop these macros.
