I have been trying to get the powerhorn
(sh10) to work with the DS 7000 console and
did not succeed yet. I followed all the
instructions and still no sound. I have
plugged the device on a 220-120V transformer
since the Voltage in my country is 220. Any
ideas on how to make it work with this
voltage?

Prove using it in the same electric outlet
that your console is connected

Do any external modules work with this?
There is a good chance that the X10 signals
from the console are not getting through the
transformer.

I have used it on the same electric outlet
as well and still no effect. This is the
only module i have which has to be connected
to an outlet so i don't know if the problem
is in the transformer.

I've had the same problem, and I'm on 120V.
I had two Powerhorns working briefly (3
successful test), then nothing. The delay
from the time the console kicks in, to the
time the Powerhorns kick in seems to vary
greatly. Sometimes quickly, sometimes it
takes forever. Please let me know if you
solve this.

try placing the x-10 console and the
powerhorn on the same electric outlet (same
adaptor)

Do you mean in the same duplex outlet, or
in the same exact socket? If you mean the
same exact socket using some sort of
adpator, I've not tried that.

System is working great. It was a matter of
using just the right sockets for the
powerhorns. Thanks!
