Detailed Dialer Procedures
« on: July 06, 2005, 02:02:16 PM »

The users manual is weak on what exactly
happens when the alarm is tripped.  Maybe
someone has better documentation.

Here is what I know.

It dials, and you can use 0 to listen in.

What happens if a line is busy?

What happens if someone listens in
indefinately?

When will it ever stop dialing?

Is there a key to press that will stop the
dialer?

Lots of questions little documentation.

Mine just called the first #, my home, and
left a message!  I thought it was supposed
to recognise Voice Mail responses and
continue calling!  Major glitch...may have
to return system since the remote has ceased
working at all on day 3 since installation.
I hate getting ripped.  We bought 2 of these
suckers!

Agreed, the PS561 manual is very poor.

When will it ever stop dialing?
Is there a key to press that will stop the
dialer?
Is there a way to get it to dial only once?
