Geoff,
That is a problem with the console that
means it is defective. The suggested
response you should take is to reset the
console completely. When you reset it up
you might just enter one module (any type)
as a testbed. Make sure the 1 sensor is in
good working condition (batteries, close
location) and see if the console continues
its behavior.
After you reset and lets say you go ahead
and reenter all sensors the problem still
occurrs the question is are there any of
the lights on the console indication a
particular sensor is the issue?
You can do alot of testing to check what is
wrong but most likely from what Ive seen of
this in the past is the console itself is
defective and needs replaced.
Note: the age of the console is not a
factor in this conclusion (happens brand
new and old)
