I'm wondering if this siren might be
compatible with the 49-1000 or actually be
different that the standard PH series. I
know it looks an awful lot like the X10
model but it seems a little different. I was
wondering because the 49-1000 does not work
with the standard X10 Sirens, however works
fine with the RS Plug N' Power module, which
looks just like the one included with the
Honeywell Wireless Security system.

Looks like an X10 SH10A to me. I downloaded
the manuals and will give them a look at.

The HSA600 Manual indicates that you set the
house code to the next higher code from what
the console lights use and to ignore the
units code wheel. No concrete data in the
manual; but no units needed. Indicates to me
that the Honeywell console; like the older
RS and DS7000 sends the All Lights ON All
Units Off code that the new console does not
send.

jerry

so does that mean that this siren will work?

I have not seen any feedback from anyone who
has tried it. Looks like it may but not
enough details in the Honeywell Manuals to
make a 100% judgement.
