hi:
what is the easiest way to do the following:
I have 2 separate lights each with its own
switch. Switch "A" turns on light "A", and
switch "B" turns on light "B". I need to
have switch "A" or switch "B" turn on and
off both lights at the same time. There is
no possibility of running wires between them.

I know it sounds almost too easy but just
set both modules to the same code (i.e., A-
1). Every module with the same code will
then respond to the signal.

Do you have any X10 stuff now? I don't think
X10 has a switch that can transmit an ON OFF
signal to other switches when it is
switched. Some other brands have that
ability. Is that what you need?

Hi Brian...Thanks for the reply. Yes,that is
exactly what i need, but i guess x10 doesnt
have the ability to transmit unless you use
RF? I suppose i could use 2 XPT Modules and
put an in-line module in each lite, but then
i have an objectional and possibly confusing
4 button array at the switches. Any other
mfg that you know of that has an in the wall
transmitter that will talk to the X10 code?

Some of the other brand X10 compaitible
switches are two way devices. When you turn
one on or off it sends an X10 line signal
over the power line. If another module or
switch is on the same address it also turns
on or off.

Smarthome's ICON Switches though primarily
Insteon. Can be given an X10 Primary
Address. I have a mixed home of X10
Smarthome and Insteon. For now all in the
X10 mode. I did a test as I have a few ICON
2876SB Relay type switches [on off no dim].
Gave both the same X10 address and they did
control each other and the wall switch
installed in the bedroom that also is on the
same X10 address. Thay alao work fine with
my X10 remotes and Tranceivers. Note a
neutral in the switch box is needed for this
type switch.
