Socket Rocket compatibility with lights attached to a fan

I was able to program the individual socket
rockets using a lamp. After I programmed
each of them (4 of them), I moved them to a
light kit attached to the fan and I cant get
them to work? Are there compatibility issues
between socket rockets and fans which have a
light kit? Is there a workaround?
