Has anyone had any trouble with the
ActiveHome software not controlling the
mini tranceiver TM751?  Unless I missed
something, this transceiver isn't listed in
the software, and I can't even get it to
turn the light on and off using the icon
for the RR501 or a lamp module in the
software.  The transceiver is set to A1,
and the palmpad remote will control it.

The TM751 only responds to an RF Remote
Signal on the house and unit code it is set
to. It has NO Powerline receiver in it so
any line signals from the cm15a or any other
controller like a maxi-controller. Will not
turn it on or off. That is also why it will
blindly step on any other X10 line signals
as it can't receive them and wait for a
clear powerline.

So your Palmpad on A1 should turn it on or
off and the on off command will be sent over
the powerline. A controller sending a
powerline A1 on or off will not change the
TM751's state.

Well, I guess that explains it!  That's
sort of a bummer, since the TM751 HAS to be
on unit code 1 and won't do 9.  I had
wondered earlier what the difference was
between the two types of transceivers.  I
hope I don't run into a problem using one
of each on the same system (same house
code).  Thanks a bunch.

The RR501 is polite and listens to the
powerline before sending. The TM751 doesn't.
Most likely they will be ok together. The
RR510 can be on 9 and both a remote and the
powerline controllers can access it. The
TM751 can stay on 1 as that is the only
choice and the remotes can control it.

....so, an EagleEye motion sensor will turn
the light on and off on the TM751, right?
I just thought I'd ask before I go outside
and reprogram the motion sensor.  :-)

Yes IF the motion sensor is set to send on
the House Code in use and on Unit 1. The
House Code Unit 1 on off will also be sent
over the powerline to any other House Code
Unit 1 modules also.

Thanks a bunch.  I'm hoping to set my chime
to unit code 16 and have the dusk to dawn
feature control the light on the
transceiver at unit code 1.
