RR501 TM751 transciever transmissions
« on: July 24, 2006, 12:00:56 PM »

Do the RR501 and/or TM751 transmit ONLY the house code they're located on, or do they transmit for ALL house codes they receive?  In other words, do I need a transciever for EVERY house code I use, or will one transciever work?

On another subject, it is possible to restrict the house codes transcieved by the CM15A, or does it always transcieve all house codes it hears?

Yes they will only transmit the house code you have them set to.

As for the CM15A you can select the hose code it transmits. You will find this option in the configuration menu.

You'll find that the RR501 is much better that the TM751.
As the RR501 waits to send commands where the TM751 doesn't and causes problems.
I also believe that the RR501 has a better range.
Anyway, as JimC stated they will only transmit on the house code that they are set to.
But if you'll be using more than one house code, you can use more than one transceiver each set to a different house code as necessary.
The CM15A has P....  poor range. There is an antenna mod for it, the link for it can be found elsewhere on the forum.
Just do a search for CM15A on the forum.
Good luck to ya.

This is so true. I was having some very strange, intermittent problems with my system. I replaced the TM751 with a RR501 and my system became much more stable. The RR501 came in some package deal I bought a few years ago and I had never botherd using it as I didn't know how much than the TM751 it was until I saw the information posted in these forums.

What is a PAT01?  I found that my TM751 interfered with my setup (causing internittent results of my macros), and removed it.  Is the PAT01 just an old version of the TM751?  Otherwise, my X-10 setup is super!

PAT01 is an  X10Pro model number. Would have to look but very well could be the TM751's model number in the X10Pro catalog.
