I bought on 2004 one of the X10 packages from X10.com. all cameras work, the recievers work and so does the transmitter when using to transmit to a TV and vcr. But I've been trying long ago to make it work for the PC using Multiview, webview, pantilt or Xray and it just doesn't run. I installed the latest drivers of these software and when starting any of them the computer freezes or crashes to the point I have to unplugged the computer and start again using F8 with the latest succesfull startup.

Does any one have encounter this issue and find the way to solved it. if so, please share the solution with me and the tech department of x10 before the next garbage truck arrives to my house.

Problem solved!. For the benefit of others with the same situation, I downloaded the software Activehome pro. during installation it ask you that needs to make and update to multiview, webview, xray and pan tilt. with these updates the programs works fine. you don't need to purchase activehome pro to do this.

the problem I'm having know is that cannot connect through the internet. getting this message:
Error Occured: Can't connect socket: Can't assign requested address

Thanks for the update and your workaround!  :)%
If your using a router you most likely will need to set port forwarding and play with some of the security settings to get a connection.
