Anyone know a place near Dallas that sells x10 equipment?

Check Lowe's and Home Depot for a few random modules.

But you best bet for X10 stuff is always mail order. EBay is a good place to find discount price dealers but figure out what you want in advance and search for the module name/number. Prices can vary WIDELY. And check feedback for shipping problems on whoever you choose to buy from.

Oh, and google can be your friend, even if it is a bit obtuse at times.

I searched for "x10 dealer dallas texas" and found this link buried on a "page of links".

Give them a call and see if they do parts sales.

1. Home Depot and Lowe's used to carry X10 modules, but not any more, at least in the Baltimore area. I suspect it applies to the chains.

2 http://www.isi-inc.net/ is a very basic site, no links. You have to call them and they say so on the web site.
I don't SELL this stuff... BUT I sure do ENJOY using it!!!

If you are looking for lighting control stuff, then Elliott Electric Supply carries the X10 PRO line.  Better products in my opinion, but no cameras.

I also like Automated Outlet.  They have great prices and they provide good service.  If you are patent your best prices come from ordering directly from X10 when they have a sale on the modules you need.

Tim Forehand, DBA The Home Automation Store on eBay, often has a table at the Dallas 1st Saturday Electronic Sidewalk Sale.  He usually has very good prices and you'll avoid shipping charges.  Email him at tim@authinx.com to find out whether he'll be there on May 6th and the location of the event.  (It's under one of the expressways downtown but I haven't been in Dallas for a while and forget exactly where.)
Yesterday it worked.
Today it doesn't work.
X10 on Windows is like that.
