I think I got everything together, they only question is what interface controller can I use  to connect this system to a computer, I have looked on the forums I a keep getting redirected to other places and never really find a good answer. the X10 controller I am getting is (PS561).

what I want is maybe some option to turn off the system form away from the home via sms or e-mail or even connect directly to the computer. Also if I decide to upgrade to the surveillance camera option can I control it all on one system? or would it be a seperate system all together?

Any help would be appreciated.

It's hard to believe that your post has been read over 90 times and no one has replied as yet.
For computer control you will need something like the ActiveHome Professional Computer Interface and USB Cable (CM15A) and the ActiveHome Professional Software (usually bundled together). Around $49.99.
Internet control you'll need something like the HomeSeer Comprehensive Home Control Software. Around $189.95.
There are others that know a heck of a lot more about this subject than I do. Hopefully they will respond to your post soon. I would encourage you to research this some more on the forum. Use the search field to find topics.
