Most of the wireless home automation motion sensors seem to sense motion about once every eight to ten seconds. I understand that this is done to prolong battery life but I have a need for a shorter interval. I have looked both here and elsewhere for a modificatrion for this with no luck. Has anyone found one?
Thanks,

I hope you found a solution for your problem but since you haven't received a reply I'll toss in my comments. I've never seen a modification to adjust time. I've also never had one miss me for that long either. The one I have on my front porch seems detect quickly. Sorry I was wasn't the bearer of better news.
BVC let's me tell my camera where to go!

Do you require it to be wireless for your application, or would a wired workaround suffice?  You could use a wired commercial PIR sensor that generates a contact closure (possible something from Leviton or Lutron?) and have it trigger an X10 universal module.  You may also find (senioe guys correct me if I am wrong here...) that if the motion sensor is triggereing to fast it could flood the signals onto your powerlines and you might end up with unexpected results (like signals being ignored before they are proccesed, or I have even read about - but fortunately never experienced - lockups on your transceivers or CM** PC interfaces).

Just a few points to consider, but please keep us posted if you find a solution.
