HI, I WOULD LIKE TO SEE X10 SEND A HARD COPY DISK OF THE SOFTWARE THAT I HAVE BOUGHT. FOUR PROGRAMS IN ALL. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO GET A CLEAN, SUCCESSFUL DOWNLOAD OF ANY OF THESE SOFTWARE PROGRAMS. I HAVE A LOT OF CAMERAS, VIDEO SENDER TO TV, ETC. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO USE ANY OF MY CAMERAS OR VIDEO PICTURE SENDER FOR MONTHS. I HAVE REQUESTED HARD COPIES, BUT X10 SAYS THEY DONT HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY TO MAKE DISKS? I WONDER IF ANYONE ELSE IS HAVING THIS PROBLEM. THANKS, DENNIS WADE

I don't know if a hard copy is available or not. I've never seen one. Best to email X10 Pro.

BTW.. It's a common courtesy NOT  to use all capital letters in posts. It makes your posts harder to read and is like screaming when talking to someone. So unless you have a stuck caps lock key please turn it off. Thanks.

AFAIK, X10 does not provide hard copies of their software. As far back as Active Home, the base version software was available on CD when you bought it, either from X10 USA or a local X10 dealer, but all upgrades had to be downloaded from X10's web site.  Active Home Pro and the add-ons are strictly web based.  All you get at first is the authorized downloader, the actual software and all upgrades are downloaded from the web.  If you want hard copies, you have to create them yoursef, and the "stub" installers make that difficult, as the installer for one version won't download the latest version.
