Status Report
« on: August 23, 2006, 04:06:39 PM »

Is there information or documentation on the three reports (General, Macro, Status) available in AHP?  I'm particularly interested in understanding the Status Report.  If you could direct me to the documentation, I would be thankful.

Status report shows the status of every thing at the time you click it.
Try looking at the X10knowledge base or doing a search here for other posts which x10staff have answered regarding reports! ;) :D ;D

Thanks Tuicemen.  I've tried searching for other posts and I've tried the X10knowledge base, but have found no information.  My questions are,
1.  In the Addressed Units row a "+" is shown in column 2.  What does that mean?
2.  In the Monitored House Code Status row "On" is shown in column 3 and 4.  What does that mean?
Everytime I take a snapshoot of the Status Report, this same information is presented.  It seems like it would change some time.  So I was trying to understand what it meant.  I'm at a lose.

#1 the "+"  means that was the last unit to be sent a command
#2 In the Monitored housecode state row a "ON" means AHP sees that device as being "ON" This doesn't mean that it is "ON" just that AHP sent that command! ::) ;) :D

More info:
Tranceived House Codes : show a "1" if you have it configured to transcieve and a "0" if you don't
Monitored House Code Dim Status: shows "+" if the lamp has been sent a dim command (if it is on the monitored house code)
Monitored House Code Flag Status:  shows status of "set" = ON,  nothing showing= flag not set or OFF

I'm sorry to say, here was X10's Eric Boyds explanation ...

Greetings!

I believe the + next to 2 indicates that you have a device at that
address defined in the software; I am not sure why two house codes are
showing up as Monitored, however. If you have any more questions, please
reply to this email. Thanks for choosing X10!

Hum? either he miss read your email or I misread your Post! No where in your post did you state two housecodes were showing up as monitored!
in the following I have "A" set as my monitored house code
At the moment I ha "A","C","F","M","N"And "P" set as transceived
A3 was the last code sent
A3 is shown as on and it is light is in front of me
At the moment no units are dimmed thus the fields are blank
Also no flags are set thus fields are blank

Tuicemen -- you read my post correctly.  I don't how X10's (Eric Boyd) got his interpretation.  Once again your added information is right one.  I totally understand the Status Report now, thanks to your posts.  I feel like an expert in Status Report interpretation ... any challengers!!!!!  ha, ha just kidding.  Thanks Tuicemen.
