VCR Commander II-Is it possible to shorten the record time?

Is it possible to shorten the record time from 5 minutes down to one? When it records 5 minutes past the eagle eye cut off, means you go through 6 minutes of tape with each movement it sees.

Unfortunately NO... it would be nice to have control over this.

Actually it goes 5 minutes past the last motion detector ON sent.
Since you are using a VCR and recording anyways, maybe increase the EagleEye's OFF time to have the CAM stay on longer and just have a smaller blank gap between activations.
