Testing Phone # dialing
« on: November 07, 2006, 12:09:42 PM »

Is there a way the voice dialer security console PS561 can call the phone #'s stored without using the motion detectors or window sensors? Is there a way to test the calling feature without these sensors installed?

Thanks.

There is a PANIC mode that can be triggered from the remotes.
I've never tried it so I'm not sure if it calls out under this mode, or just sets off the alarms/lights.

[UPDATE: did a test]

System ARMED: The PANIC button will trigger the sirens & lights AND phone the numbers.

System NOT ARMED: The PANIC button will trigger the sirens & lights but WILL NOT phone the numbers.
