Sensors user 2 sequential codes each, the 2nd for dusk / dawn, so that maybe the problem with M7. For M8 and M1 I don't know. Have you recently added any macros that have dim commands? (AHP has a ghost command bug that happens when a command happens right after a dim command. - Work around is to put a few second delay after each dim command.)

What type of lights are they? Incandescent, CFL, etc.

What types of modules/switches are the lights connected to?

And as per steven r's suggestion are you using ActiveHomePro, or another type of transceiver and/or controller for normally operating your lights?

m7 m8 are decora switch. might be levition.  M1 is a appliance module. Just got of the phone with Tech support and she told me about the sensor putting out the extra code so M6 +1  =M7. To bad that sticks it should only put out the M6 now you louse a adddress. But that doesn't exsplain M8 and M1

M1 is a appliance module.

The appliance module could be triggering from it's local current sensing circuit.

m7 m8 are decora switch. might be levition.

I'm not familiar with leviton switches, so I don't know if they have any unique characteristic.

Outside of the possibility for M7 getting triggered, it seems odd that all 3 would act up after installing one motion sensor. Has anything else changed / been added since the motion detector? Even possibly a non-X10 appliance that could be generating a lot of electrical noise?

To bad that sticks it should only put out the M6 now you louse a adddress. But that doesn't explain M8 and M1

You didn't mention what type your motion sensor is, but the ActiveEye model (MS16A) has the ability to turn this option off. Unfortunately, the other models don't.

If you don't want the M6+1, open the housing and put a piece of black tape over the photocell.  It'll nominally void your warranty, but the tape is removable and if you're careful you shouldn't have any problems.

Yesterday it worked.
Today it doesn't work.
X10 on Windows is like that.
