I just purchased AHP, and trying to relate it's programming with ActiveHome. In trying to set up my 1st macro, I can't figure out how to configure on/off times to vary day-to-day. With ActiveHome, I used the timer security mode, but can't find it in AHP. Can anyone help me?

I am by no means an expert at AHP, but when you set the TIMER to trigger and macro there is a box to check for security timers.

AHP has a lot of security modes!

If your just looking for the one in the timer section you have to click "View in Advanced Mode"

That will bring up the security box to check as well as other options! ;) :D

You may need the SmartMacros plug-in and or the OnAlert plug-in if you wish to use the security option in macros

Please state which plug-ins you have if any!

I can post some other screen shots but I have all plug-ins and unless you do as well it would just confuse you!  ;)

NOTE

When setting up the security mode in a timer or a macro, the security option must be checked before doing anything else.

When you finish and upload it, if you review the timer or macro, the security option will appear as a greyed out box.  See Tuicemen's post above for a screen shot.

Thanks for the info about clicking on "View in advanced mode". It wasn't obvious to me, and I don't find it in the manual or tutorials. Now that I'm in the correct screen, I still can't activate the "security" function, it's grayed out, and doesn't permit me to activate it. I'll play a little more, and then, as a last resort, call their help line (although based on past experience, I'm not confident I speak with someone who has knowledge of AHP).

As Dan stated the security option must be checked before doing anything else!

Selecting dusk/dawn delays first will grey out the security option as you can see with my pics!

Uncheck the dusk or dawn delays if it is a timer and then check security!

Hope you find this as Helpful as you did the last post! ;) ;) :D ;D

Actually, you need to delete the timer and start over from scratch. The Security Option must be the first thing checked before anything else is done.

You can't under 2.04. Perhaps the 2.06 that you got with On Alert has that feature.

A good indiaction X10 needs to get that feature to the non On Alert folks.

Thanks all, I'm now set to start working. If I run into a problem that I can't solve, I know where to turn for help ;-)
