Start with the x10 web site, they have several different configurations. You gave nothing useful other then you want lamp dimmers. Think it through, how many watts, are they part of the house or part of the light fixture. I assume they are 115V systems. How do you want to control them. You need to do some homework before you make that decision. Also understand that every place is different, that is why they all have different addresses. The odds are great that the x10 will work for you but it may take some work to get to work, depends on your location.
