LM15ES programming, troubleshooting & information
« on: January 12, 2007, 04:14:56 AM »

I have a LM15ES that worked fine when it was installed for the first time, after it was installed we fixed the original socket to the roof, because it was hanging loose. Then we screwed it the LM15ES, then the globe and eversince it's not working. I know the default code on it is A2. I have tried to reprogram it to a different code, but nothing happens. It's supposed to turn on when it has learnt the new code, but it only stays on, forever. The remote control I have is the MultiMedia Remote 8in1 Infrared + RF 433MHz Preprogrammed + Learning unit, if that helps.

Does it turn on as soon as the power is applied and never turns off?
If that is how it acts; it is damaged; maybe by a surge from the light bulb burning out or too large a bulb wattage wise.
