Trigger of A1 by DS7000 HC "O"
« on: September 19, 2008, 12:48:24 PM »

Hello to all X10R's,

HC "A" is showing activity from any RF in relation to my DS7000 (Unit, 2 MS10A, 1 DS10A, 3 KR10A, 1 SH624, 3 PH508) of which is set to HC "O". Does not matter if its from a remote or motion or setting ON of system, triggering or resets.  As soon as the first detected signal, then "A" lights up. So as past post talks of problems of resets from unit back to HC "A", so I went through each unit under the DS7000 and reset and changed the battries on all, not remotes. Reprogrammed the DS7000 ( which brings to mind the wish list for the unit) and still the same situation. Other than this, all is functioning well. HC "M" has 2 Cams and Ninjas as well as chime and Eagle eye(new battry). HC "D" is macros only. No other HC is doing this to "A", It only shows up after the first RF from the HC "O". I did try and change the HC to another selection and still the same reaction. I don't have any Reapeters or couplings, CM15A w/mod running under XP 24/7.  Sooo, as you guessed it I am in need of some assistance in the matter and then A "Thanks for Help" will be so gladly awarded.

Thanks
BaBaLou.

PS. I will try to attach a pic of the Activiy Monitor. here goes... :o

Why do you care?  If you have nothing on House Code A, then designate a "ghost" appliance module as "A1", and see what the result is.

Thanks JMac,
Did try a phantom and it did eliminate the red and yellow and left the green at A1. Upon activity with DS7000 there was nothing but green on "A". So what does this mean? line noise near the DS7000 may contribute to noise showing on "A" ?. Might it be able to show up on another HC ? just wondering to help expand and understand X10 knowledge. Don't worry I wont loose any sleep on it, now.

As promised, even though it was a weak one but still a deserved one for the responce, Thanks!!! :)%
