I saw this on a promotions page http://www.x10.com/promotions/cm15a_ed_freesuite_onalert_srf_0302.html

When did AHP allow polling of devices?

Polling has been around for some time. You must use a 2-way appliance or light module and you must select the 2-way module type when you add it to your room. It works, but one caution: If you use a Remote Chime (SC546A) it might start screaming (not chiming) when you poll the appliance or light (even though it's a different house/unit code). The chime  needs to be unplugged to stop it.

The promotion is for Active Home Pro and the CM15A plus the 1 Smart Macro Software Module for ActiveHome Pro (SW32A) ,1 iWatchOut Software Module for ActiveHome Pro (SW33A), 1 myHouse Online Software Module for ActiveHome Pro (SW34A) and 1 ActiveHome Pro - Home Security Solution (SW39A) for $49.99, which is a fantastic deal.

The separate items would cost $339.00.

Check the cost of lamp and appliance modules and add that cost to the $49.99 and you get a lot to automate your home.
I don't SELL this stuff... BUT I sure do ENJOY using it!!!
