Can I use the CR14A remote to control XC18A, XC19A, and XX20A cameras?

CR14A

Unable to control my new cameras (XC18A, XC19A, and XX20A) with my old (CR14A Pan 'n Tilt) remote.  The new cameras are not connected to a Pan 'n Tilt base.

Should this be possible?

I have the camera power supplies set to A1, A2, A3.  They work fine if I only have one plugged in at a time.  When I plug them all in I am not able to select just one with the CR14A remote.

Any suggestions?

The CR14A transmits RF while the camera power supplies are controlled by X10 powerline signals.  You need a transceiver like a TM751 or RR501 (or CM15A) to convert the RF to a powerline signal.

Yesterday it worked.
Today it doesn't work.
X10 on Windows is like that.

Thank you for the prompt reply.  Amazing!  I am almost speechless!

Let me see if I understand this....
Does the Ninja Pan and Tilt receive RF from the CR14A to control its motion?
But the addressable power supplies are controlled by powerline signals from a transceiver such as the TM751?
And the CR14A sends RF to the TM751?

I may need to rethink my entire perception of the universe.

Yes, to all three questions.

Today it doesn't work.

Thank you.  I have ordered a TM751.

The 751 is impolite sending RF signals, the RR501 transiever is polite and will wait to send RF if another RF device is sending.
I don't SELL this stuff... BUT I sure do ENJOY using it!!!
