[WTB] Module to Control Pool Pump
« on: April 20, 2007, 06:13:47 PM »

What appliance module can I use for a pool pump? It is 2 HP and 120 volt / 11 amps, so about 1300 watts.

Limited choices. You could try an appliance module to see how long it would last. The starting current of the pump will probably weld the contacts.
The XPS3 wire in switch is 120V 20Amp.
Did you look at the smarthome.com site?
An alternative is to use an applaince module or a Universal module to energize a larger contactor to control the pump.
