X10 Remote

When attempting to set my starlight setting, my remote froze on "IRIS" Even though I did not select that.
After removing myself from this setting, I attempted to get to "starlight again". However the menu only flashed by and settled on IRIS again.
All future attempts to reach the menu ended in the "IRIS" selection..
Fortunately in explaining the situation to "Tech Support" they are sending a repacement remote. Anyone else have similar problem with remote?
