Software Download location?

I have been running Active Home 1.42 for years, and just upgraded my computer.  Since the new box has no Serial port, I purchased a serial to USB cable, and ActiveHome seems not to be working with this.  Is there a location for updated software that I can download?  I have an Active Home unit that communicates with a telephone type connector.  Or am I stuck purchasing a new ActiveHome box with a USB connector and new software?

I have read of people having problems with the serial port to USB adapters. You could try a serial port card.

I had tried the CM11 (a couple-three years ago), but I wasn't impressed. But for the price, you may want to try the AHP.
