I recently upgraded computers.  i remembered to transfer the Activehome software, but did not remember to get the registration code from the e-mail.  I sold the computer and no longer have access to the old e-mails.  How can I get the registration code for this computer?

Did you reformat the drive before you sold it? i.e. Clean your hard drive of all personal data?

If all your mail resided only on the old computer computer, then you'll need to get the codes from X10.
BVC let's me tell my camera where to go!

Call X10.  If they can find your order, and thus verify your purchase, they will gladly then re-send you the registration number.

* Tecmar Device Master, CP290 (LightHouse), CM11A (AH), CM14A (AH2), CM15A (AHPro).

You'll need to supply your original email address and name the software and registration numbers were sent to! ;)
The registration numbers will be sent to that e-mail address!

Apparently you didn't read the OP's post.  He sold to old computer and does not have access to the old e-mails. Even if he can remember the old address, he apparently may not have the same ISP.   If he does, he can get X10 to send the info tho that address.  He didn't specify if he changed his ISP.

I don't SELL this stuff... BUT I sure do ENJOY using it!!!

I have gone thru several PC's over the years, but I still have the same ol' email address.

My current PC only has those emails received since I started using it.  Not having access to my old email has nothing to do with my email address, since my email is stored locally, and not on my ISP's server.

I was figuring that was your case.
Have you contacted X10 yet to have them resend the registration codes? If I recall correctly, mine were in the format order.number-1, order.number-2, order.number-3...

Good thing losing e-mails doesn't mean you lose your e-mail address! ;)
or changing PCs meant you'd lose your email address we'd all be in trouble ;) :D ;D

steven r: In your case you must have ordered all the plugins at once as mine are not the same as the order number plus the - and a single digit. But good thought! ;)
jcgso probably doesn't have the order number either since he relied on his old emails in his email program to store valueable info!

This is why everyone needs to as many have stated before " Back up ALL important data!" this includes the registration numbers as well as the program and plug-ins! ;)
