Hi

im in the uk and looking to setup X10 for home automation. i have been looking at a few different Modules but looking for help from a user here

Can i ask if you where to start again with X10 what would you have done differently, or how do you have it set up

i am just learning so if the modules listed below are the wrong place to start please let me know

what i am planning is to have computer support (CM11U) from start via harmony or active home, mainly lights (LW10U) and motion sensors (MS13)

Thanks

Myjalby :o)

I started with a starter kit, 2 switches, 3 lamp modules, and 3 appliance modules. I also bought a transceiver and a palmpad remote. It was a great way for me to start.

Dave,

What do you now have?  (I assume that you've added to your initial system.)

The starter kit looks great, but lacking enough door/window sensors.

I have 3 teenagers and a very active (teacher) wife - and I'm bettin' that I'll need keychain remotes.  Especially for when we walk the dogs late at night.

What about home entertainment?  Is the Lola system worth while?   Comments??

Thanks for the response!  I'll be monitoring . . .
