Has anyone had a problem with AHP locking up when you leave it plugged into the interface.  I can't leave it plugged in for more than about 5 minutes.  HELP

Actually there are many posts about this! Do an Advance Search for "AHP locks up". you'll find some info!
If you can't find your particular problem post exactly what you mean by " locks up " !
Supply as much detail about your system as possible( OS your using, plug-ins installed, is a macro running when it locks?.....)
The more info you supply the more likely someone will supply the correct fix the first time!
