Has anyone had any luck in using a webcam on a PC with the MyHouse software interface...?

I believe Myhouse only uses the va11 or va12 for video input.  If i'm wrong I stand corrected.  If you want to use a webcam I would suggest using something like blue iris software.  You can use blue iris for your x10 cameras along with webcams, analog cam, and just about anything.  They have a 15 day trial so you can see if you like it.

I haven't found a way for it to recognize a webcam or the dvr card in my server where all my surveillance cams feed into.

If you just want a single remote view webcam, I'd use "Yawcam" or "Motion Detection" software.  Both are 100% freeware.  They both detect motion through pixel changes and have several other features.  Yawcam will even do FTP upload.

There are so many good free full featured webcam and DVR surveillance cam softwares around that I wouldn't even consider paying for one.

When I start up active home my webcam goes active, but it does not communicate...I look into getting the va11 interface...

Forgive me if you already understand this, but I just though I should point out that the VA11A will not connect to your webcam unless the webcam has a raw video (NTSC) output.

I use a webcam and Dorgen (freeware). It is possible to trigger a capture with a X10 code (AutoHotkey  and x10Dispatcher- freeware). To remotely view the captured image, I use x10Dispatcher Webserver.
