The cm15a USB interface doesn't have a good
RF receiving range and having to be close
seems to verify that. Try moving the
interface away from the computer as much a
possible. Maybe a test on an extension cord
or in a different outlet from the computer
as they frequently generate enough noise the
make things poor. Also try the antenna of
the cm15a horizontal or directly downward.
If the macro is downloaded into the
interface and runs on it's own. try it with
the computer off and unpluged including any
surge strips it maybe in.

Line noise and Air noise. Do you have a router, if so change the wireless channel to 1 or 11.

mainman134   there are many reasons why your not getting the intended range your looking for!
Do an Advanced Search on RF reception and RF noise! ;)
Building materials used in construction of your home will affect your reception!
Learn to identify any thing that can cause poor reception and keep it out of the line of sight of the two devices will improve reception! ;)
Also locate the CM15A as high as possible while staying as far away from RF signal interfering devices as possible! ;)
