monitoring multiple cameras with pan and tilt mechanism

Hello,
I am doing a project on monitoring multiple camera. i want to monitor 4 digital cameras video signals.Also,i want to control the direction of all cameras with pan and tilt mechanism by employing stepper motors.s o,i need to control 8 stepper motors for pan and tilt mechanism. i want to do all these things with single USB port.
I want to make my own application.can any one suggest me the sources for this type of projects? or can any one help me to create this application?

I think ramsey electronics has the interface you are looking for.  X10 software/hardware can do this for you, however you would need to tie up more than one usb.  you could buy a usb hub to add more ports.  perhaps if we knew more about your project, we could shed some more light onto the situation.
