I have had AHP for over a year now and it still will not run more than 24 hours without a hang-up (aka Not Responding).  >:(

I have tried everything possible (see below) though still nothing has worked. I am very close to taking the whole system out and running it over with my truck!!!! Please anyone HELP!!!!!

System install on a new Dell Dimension running XP

Things I have tried…

•   Reloading AHP numerous times from different sources, currently install latest update version from a disk.
•   Replaced the CM15A three times.
•   Reload Windows XP, loaded minimal software, running no other programs.
•   Isolated all hardware… still hangs-up with CM15A UNplugged from the wall, with USB plugged in.
•   Ran computer fix software for register cleaner/repair
•   Searched X10 forum many hours looking for similar resolution.

The CM15A has to be plugged into the outlet! How else would it send PLCs?
Hope that was ONLY a test! ;) IF not, that is the reason it hangs up!

Yes, I  only unplugged the unit from the wall to isolate the cause. Problem still occurs plugged in the wall or not (USB always plugged in).

One note: when the USB is plugged in the problem occurs, though UN-Plug the USB the problem goes away? "Rember, replaced the CM15A three times"

I'm leaning towards an incompatible USB port
Have you tried it in another port?

Whenever my AHP (with all Plug-ins) locks up, it is ALWAYS because of one of my macros.  Usually one that has 1. delays and 2. sets a phantom that triggers another macro.

If you have macros, try to determine what action causes the lockup and find the running macro, delete it, try the action again.  Then re-write the macro one step at a time.

I've been unable to get it to lock by manually triggering the macros - the sensors have to actually do the triggering.

...just the way I do it...

I cleared the interface memory and loaded only one light switch, and the system has been running longer than ever  ;D. So it quite possible that the macro problem is the cause. Thanks for your Help!!!!!!
