I am using X10 pro.  I am not new to it -- I have been using it and the previous version for 6 or 7 years or more.   In the last several days, I have noticed that the modules on one circuit do not always respond to the signals.  No apparant reason that I can determine. I have not added or changed anything on this circuit and all modules have worked absolutely perfectly for years. A year or so ago, I had a capacitor connected between the phases so that can be ruled out. All other modules on the other circuits seem to be funtioning normally.   Any suggestions on diagnosis or corrections would be appreciated.

Additional information  -- I have 4 wall switch modfules on this particular circuit that are affected.  In trying different things I have discovered that by manually turning on one of the wall switches, all of the others will respond to commands.  It is when I turn this particular module off either maually or by signal, that the other modules  on this circuit will not respond. This leads me to wonder if that module could be the source of the problem.  Any thoughts from anyone???

Maybe. Also something on the circuit being controlled by that switch maybe failing.
We have seen things like a electronic devices power supply going bad and starting problems.
Maybe a check of all the devices connections on that switch may help.

Question if the modules are all on and you turn off the questionable module do the other units turn off also?

The first step I would take is just to try another module in the place of the one in question above--if possible.  When in doubt, rip it out.

If I had all of the modules on. turning off the questionable module manually  would not affect the others.  This module was on of the modules I had on a macro for my home theatre lighting. This problem was confined to only the modules on ohe house breaker circuit.  The macros would not work unless I manually turned this module on.  I could turn it off with a signal from my timers but it would not turn on except for manually.  When it was off, all of the modules on that particular house breaker circuit would not respond to any signals excpet for all off.    I had another module on the samse house and unit code that was on a different breaker circuit and was also on the macro and it would work perfectly. All other modules on all other breaker circuits and all hause codes on the other circuits performed normally.

Note:  Problem solved!
I changed out the quiestionalbe module and that seems to correct the problem.  I just had never had this happen in all of my years using x10.   Thanks for all of the advise.

Could have been a marginal signal area and the replacement was more sensitive.
