I'm using active home pro with 4 cameras, however I go to look and it won't get my #1 camera to respond until I unplug the power supply for that camera and plug it back in.  Then it will work for a while and I come back and it's gone again.  Any suggestions, hints, kinks?

Hi Lummox,
Can you give us some more info like:
wired/wireless
location of problem camera ie closest fartherst
XP/Vista
recvr model
etc

Thanks

X10 wireless cameras work in groups of four. The common House Code and Unit Code 1-4;5-8;9-12 and 13-16. Turning on one turns off the other three. Cameras also default to On when first powered up. It sounds like camera one isn't seeing an on signal and maybe turning off when another in the group is turned on. Another thing could be a bad power supply on camera one. A test for that would be swap camera supplies and see if the problem follows the power supply.

There are 4 cameras, all wireless.....they are coded on codes 1 thru 4, all within 30 feet of the interface on the computer.  This one has the Ninja robotic mount so I don't have a power supply to swap on it.

The first step I would do is plug the camera in without the ninja mount to test reception of that camera to try and iliminate one or the other.  If same problem switch with other camera.
Can you rotate the ninja without any problems?
IF you have them on A you might try switching cameras and receiver to B-C or D
There is actually a point in rotation where the ninja receiver can interfere with the camera signal since the both have independant systems.  I had a problem with one camera overridding others and had to relocate it.
