X!0 Slaves stopped working
« on: June 12, 2008, 02:40:51 PM »

I have a circuit consisting of an XPDI3 master switch and 3 XPSS Slaves.  While replacing a bulb, the master switch blew out.  I replaced it.  The master switch wroks fine but none of the slaves are working.  What could the problem be?  Wiring didn't change.

The XPSS slaves are more than just momentary switches.  It's possible that a surge from the XPDI3 could have taken out the slaves as well.

I agree with Alan V.
The XPSS Slave switch connects the Hot power lead to the Control Input of the Master XPDI3. It could be damaged and not making connection and depending on how it is wired the bad XPSS could make the others [you said 3 XPSS switches] could make all 3 not work.

I guess another thing could be a defective new XPDI3 that has a bad control input, but that is less likely; than maybe a damaged XPSS
