Trouble recordin gw/macro

I have a vanguard camera that I am trying to set up w/an AHP macro to record when the motion sensor sends an on trigger and stop recording when it sends an off trigger during set times of the day.  The recording will start, but it will only record for ~20 seconds before stopping and then restarting again.  It also doesn't start recording for ~20 seconds.  Thanks for all your existing postings that have helped me through many of my initial issues,  :)%  but I can't seem to find anything to help me with this.  Any ideas?
