X10 UR73A - will not operate my Directv DVR

  I just received my new Icon remote , what a piece of crap!  It says it Learns my remote for Directv hd receiver and my Sylvania HDTV and then nothing.  The remote codes are useless.  It takes 4 digit codes but the new items coming on the market more and more have 5 digit codes. What a waste of time and money!
