I got Activehome Pro yesterday and installed iWatchout tonight after reading all the posts about how it would only work with x10 video adapters. Guess what, From the get-go, iWatchout was reading the ATI capture hardware and putting it up on the screen! Yippy!

My harware specs are

P4
Win2k
ATI All in Wonder 128 agp card.

Now the proof. Here we have the nfl network in an iwatchout window.

Remote control is cool,
but automation rules!

It is indeed 3.326

I added a camera, it showed a bunch. I selected the 1st one and pow! TV
Behind the ah pro screen in the video also just running on the screen in a borderless window so it may be a side effect. But I'm happy.

Hmmm.... I wonder if this is the reason why I cannot watch my TV card while AHP is running on the PC that did get upgraded to 3.236.

Maybe AHP is using it now. Will have to look at this a little closer. Thanks bitman.

I found out this morning that there is a sequence to getting it to work.

I need to start the pc without AHP running.
Start the ATI TV application - see the tv in that app, then close the TV.
Then start active home and go live with a camera.

Oh it's a bug alright. But a good one for a change!

I also have utramon loaded. It's an app that allows me to clone my display to another one on another display adapter.
It's not cloning the display right now but for all I know it has something to do with my system doing this. I will unload it tonight and see.

While the TV is great, I really use the all in wonder card to display a camera of the studio tracking room on the composite input.
That's working too as long as I switch the video source from cable to composite before loading AHP.

I used to float the ATI tv app (with the tracking room camera) on top of AH in "always on top" mode. But something used to crash AH alot and I hope this will be more stable.

No luck with this on my part yet. Anytime I try to access a camera or any other video function, AHP crashes. This only happens on this one PC and has since day one; with the exception of AHP version 3.206. For some reason, that was the only version that didn't crash on video functions and menus.

But I am still ticked at the fact that I cannot watch TV on my PC when I need to work on AHP. This is definitely a bug that 3.236 has introduced for me. Providing upgrades to the software is great, but I wish they would test their changes thoroughly before releasing it. At this point, I do not have enough confidence in their software changes to upgrade(?) my main automation PC to 3.236 since it is working reliably now with a VA11A for internet viewing and a TV capture card for recording.
