What may I have to do to reclaim my ActiveHome and software, since I lost all setting and traces of it recently? I was running macros, My house as well. I do have a record of my registration #'s!
Thanks

This question is often asked! ::) :'
I can't  understand why people don't back up there info either to CD, floppy or paper! ??? ??? ??? >*<
Also why people can't do an advanced search! ??? ??? >*<
If users can't figure out how to use the forum you'll never figure out AHP!
Sorry for the rant! ;)

The forum has a search function, using the advanced search would have revealed the answer!
Call X10 support or customerservice supply order number and original e-mail address used to order.

PC shops will always format and do a freash install thats how they make money!
It is the simple and easiest fix.
If the Question wasn't asked "Is it ok to format?" don't pay! ;)
Most times the info on the PC is worth more then the PC. ;)

I really like those little flashdrives... I have since the early days... they've been around longer than most people realize. I have had a couple flashdrives die on me... they don't launder well. But the older/smaller ones (256 MB) are perfect for storing copies of X10 software and AHX files too. Users could easily slip PC Companion and BVC PLUS all the related files associated with them on a small flashdrive.

I keep mine hanging next to my HA PC.

Me too. I have a couple 256K ones, a few 2GB ones and some assorted other sizes. My favorite one that I keep on my key chain is the Sandisk 8GB Titanium one. It's very durable. You can run over it. It can stand 2000lbs of pressure. (Yes, I'm drooling over their new 16GB Titanium USB flash drive.)
I have the iHound software installed on the 8GB one that displays a contact number for returning it when accessed. Meanwhile it emails me with the IP address of the computer that has accessed it.
I also use iHound software for my iPod.

BVC let's me tell my camera where to go!
:) Murphy is my beta testing pal. He helps me find problems whether I like it or not. :)
