I noticed that my UR74a (6-in-1 remote) is sending RF signals for the D house code when I have it set up to run my TV with IR.
I program my remote to control the TV using code 0185. and it works great. Controls my TV though its IR port. NOW along with controlling my TV I get house code D RF commands.
I tell my TV to turn the Vol. up and it does but if I look at the activity monitor in AHP it show a D14 on command everytime. Does the same thing with VCR and CAB commands when using the codes 0185... I also checked a couple more codes some send D commands and some send no RF commands at all. I didn't go though all the codes maybe some send other house codes other then D. It seems that the remotes IR and RF are getting mixed together.
This is a pain but I just don't use anything on the D house code plus it seems the cm15a wont see the RF command about 20 feet away from it. Kind a like the signal is weaker then the normal RF that comes from the X10 button on the remote. This could give someone problems if they do use the D house code. Cause every time the use the remote to control there TV a RF command is sent and maybe your coffee maker comes on too lol or what ever you have on the D house code.
In our late night chats at KDR's Chat room we came across some info that says:
"Except for the difference in carrier frequencies, the RF protocol that X-10 uses for standard (i.e. non-security) X-10 RF devices is identical to the original NEC IR protocol which is widely used for IR remote controls."
